Brink to Boom, St Pete Brasserie Takes Off!
What a difference a month and a half can make. When we first reported that the St. Pete Brasserie was soon to shut its doors, the community came out in support in full force and ever since, business has been rather brisk at the Central Ave. eatery. Followed by national media attention and a nice spot on Bay News 9, some private investors have taken notice.Owner Andrew Wilko Wilkins tells iLovetheBurg that, thanks to some newfound cash flow, the once unfillable other half of the Brasserie will soon transform into an annex of the resto with its own bar, coffee machine, a menu with more “rustic” choices, including steamed options, and live entertainment. We can expect the new venture to serve lunch, dinner and late night crowds.
No promises just yet, Wilko says he’s leaning towards naming the new joint 539 @ The Brasserie, based on the street address.
Congratulations everyone. By putting your support behind St. Pete Brasserie, you have truly proven that it is your ‘Burg!
St. Pete Brasserie is located at 539 Central Ave.
