Because New Year's Eve fell on a Monday this year, we're switching up our weekly list to share what's happening tonight in downtown St. Pete. Let's kickoff 2013 'Burg-style!

First Night St. Pete 2013
St. Petersburg rings in the New Year with music, lights, dance, fire, bubbles, stories, creative fun, fireworks and much more! First Night St. Petersburg celebrates its 20th Annual New Year's Eve celebration of the arts at multiple venues in downtown St. Pete. Family-oriented festivities with music stages, entertainment, drama, dance, games, art, fireworks and more! 5pm to midnight. Purchase buttons here. Information tent at Beach Drive and 2nd Ave NE.

Q Year's Eve Dance Party
Presented by Q105. Ring in 2013 with the bay area's best party band, The Hunks of Funk! Ticket includes complimentary champagne toast and great view of the St. Petersburg fireworks display. A limited number of VIP tickets, which include access to the VIP Lounge, private restrooms, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, champagne toat and view of fireworks from VIP Lounge Terrace, are available. 9pm. $25. TRYST New Year's Eve Party
Ring in the New Year in style at Tryst. They're featuring an exclusive 4 course dinner menu with 2 seatings (reservations required). Swingin' the New Year!
New Year's Eve celebration for all ages. Join Swingin' the New Year Orchestra, a 20-piece all star big band, and dance 2012 away! Midnight countdown and balloon drop. The Studio@620 wil have live music from the 97th Regimental Band, Nate Najar and Sharon Scott--each performing for 30 minutes starting at 8pm as part of the First Night St. Pete festivities. FREE! The Studio@620, 620 1st Avenue S.

St. Petersburg Pier
The ultimate New Year's Eve Extravaganza at The St. Pete Pier! Don't miss your last chance to celebrate NYE from The Pier. Free family activities like face painting, a one man circus, music, interactive dance, fireworks at 9pm and midnight. 1pm to 1am. St. Pete Pier, 800 2nd Ave NE.

Queen's Head SKYBALL
James Bond themed New Year's Eve Party. Fire spinners, music, DJ Craig Dirty, balloon drop, fireworks, champagne toast at midnight and tons more! Come as your favorite James Bond character or Black Tie and Cocktail dress attire. Will be a very shaken not stirred night. Queens Head, 2501 Central Ave.

Hideaway Cafe

Sake Bomb

The AAA Auto Club Group in Florida is offering free rides home (not to other bars or locations). New Year's Eve ranks as the most dangerous night to be driving, so be safe out there tonight, 'Burgers!
